With FastGem's new User Notifications feature, you can ensure your employees read and agree to certain notifications before doing further work in FastGem: 

 *Note that in addition to selecting certain user permission groups to send the notification to, you can also select specific Areas within your instance to send the notification to. IF YOU LEAVE THE GROUPS, AREAS, AND USERS BLANK, THE MESSAGE WILL NEED TO BE ACCEPTED BY THE WHOLE COMPANY WHEN LOGGING IN.

There are now more options in the User Notifications Setup, including the ability to have the notification appear to only specific users, rather than all users in a certain user group or area. 

In addition, you can customize the text of the Agreement Button by editing the 'Button Text' field. 

If you want your users to be taken to a specific page in FastGem after they Agree, then you can enter the link to that page in the 'Redirect On Save' field. Otherwise, users will be taken to the home page after clicking the Agreement button for the notification.  

'Viewable Link': This is for a situation wherein you want your users to be able to view only one single page in FastGem other than this Notification page, until they have clicked the Agreement button on the Notification page. For example, if you need them to open and view a report and then certify that they have viewed the report by clicking the Agreement button, then you would put the report URL in the 'Viewable Link' field. You can hide the report URL behind text of your choice by editing the 'Viewable Link Button Text' field. 

Then, when one of the selected users logs in, they will be met with the notification and will have the ability to click the Viewable Link button (blue button in the picture below) to access the required report in another tab before they click the Agreement button (green button in the picture below) in the notification tab: 

To see details of which users have and have not accepted the notification so far, use the "Completed Users" and "NOT Completed Users" sliders within the notification record itself:
